We also specialize in Bow hunting safaris for the dedicated bow hunter. We have very good bow hunting areas that are not hunted with rifle.

The entire infrastructure in place is perfect to ensure a successful bow hunt. You can choose to hunt from ground or pit blinds over waterholes or elevated and tree stands over game trails or water as well as walk and stalk hunting. The PH that will guide you on your hunt will be experienced with guiding bow hunters and will understand the bow hunter’s needs

We also offer bow hunting for dangerous game in South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Zambia.

The best time to bow hunt in SA is from august to September when there is very little water left in the bush and game are concentrated around the waterholes. Please ensure that you do not book your hunt over a full moon as the game tend to move more at night, contact us for possible dates for a successful hunt.

The equipment needed to hunt African game successful is a quiet bow with at least 65-70pound draw wait. You will need a heavy arrow with a very sharp 3 or 2 blade broad head. Most mechanical heads do not do well on African game!

Shooting distances very between 10-50meters but you will seldom shoot game at more that 40meters. Any dark camouflage pattern will do for clothing and a light leafy soot will work well on walk & stalk hunts. Bring comfortable boots that are quiet. We look forward to make your bow hunt a success

Come and hunt Africa the way it was done in the old days and stay in canvas tented fly camps and get the real African safari experience.

There are several hunting areas in South Africa where you will hunt out of our tented fly camps All the tented camps will have full ablutions with hot water showers and toilets.

Included in the day fee is full catering with local beers and wines. The day usually starts at 6am with coffee, tea and cereal, toast and rusks as a light breakfast. Then you, the PH and the trackers will leave camp by 6:15am to go hunting and will return around 11am for a brunch and rest up during the hot hours of the day. The afternoon hunt will start at around 14:00 and we will hunt until dark, around 18:00. Dinner will be served at around 19:00.

Bottled water will be available through out the day on the hunting vehicles and snacks will always be available in camp.

All transport on the hunting area and recovery of game will be provided for with fully rigged 4x4 hunting vehicles and back up vehicles will be on standby if a breakdown occurs. Transport to and from the airport to the hunting area are included in the day fee.

All staff are included in the day fee PH, cooks ,skinners, and trackers and your trophy’s will be send to a taxidermist of your choice for mounting or dipping and packing and shipped to your doorstep.

On a 10 day hunt you can expect to bag 6-8 good trophy’s depending on the species of game you would like to hunt.

The best time for hunting in SA is from April-September, for bow hunters its better late in the season towards August-September when there is very little water left out in the bush and the game is concentrated around the water holes.
